In the 19th minute of the match, CJ Craddock tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oussama Omrani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 21st minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehdi Chimane in the 26th minute. The supporters of Panama booed when Foda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Zahaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Lindahl in the 34th minute of play. Habib Zahaf hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Foda's Oussama Omrani got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amir Sellimi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oussama Omrani. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Foda's goalkeeper Oussama Omrani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. With a little luck, Foda's Oussama Omrani got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line.
