A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Timoteo Nofre hit a great ball. Albiceleste F.C. were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximiliano Quilino took the corner. Albiceleste F.C.'s Maximiliano Quilino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Mino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Froilan Soter in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Higinio Fix hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, Albiceleste F.C.'s Virgilio Romildo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Virgilio Romildo hit a great ball. Froilan Soter made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Timoteo Nofre. 39 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Tobias Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Virgilio Romildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Virgilio Romildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Mino. Albiceleste F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Luca Espinar struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Tobias Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 57 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Tobias Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Albiceleste F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Albiceleste F.C.'s Tobias Mino managed to reach the ball for a save. After 63 played minutes Albiceleste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Blas Telo. After 64 played minutes Sebastian Villa rounded Albiceleste F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After 67 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Virgilio Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albiceleste F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 71st minute of play forced Albiceleste F.C.'s goalkeeper Tobias Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Froilan Soter, made in the 72nd minute of the game. After having played for 74 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tobias Mino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Villa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Mino. That made the score 1-4 in the 84 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Froilan Soter in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. After 90 played minutes Albiceleste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Romildo. Sebastian Villa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Tobias Mino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Albiceleste F.C. throughout the match.
