Olov Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Stennäs FF's Per-Åke Pålsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Håkan Björklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Stennäs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, Stennäs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Lingren to maneuver through the defense. Stennäs FF's Simon Barck was substituted for Henry Bergström. Stennäs FF made a substitution. Stefan Nordgren replaced Andréas Rudberg. Henning Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Örjan Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stennäs FF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
