After 19 minutes of play, Huckebein's Marin Jumancă made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huckebein's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Santxol saved Huckebein from getting behind. 27 minutes in the game Lucjan Kendra did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alvaro Perez. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Everardo Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Everardo Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Santxol made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Joaquin Prats sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Apolo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 51st minute of the match. Apolo Santxol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luz Tejedor's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huckebein made a substitution. Wolfgang Dalkvist replaced Marin Jumancă. Huckebein's Wilfredo Ugutz was substituted for Alvaro Perez. Apolo Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Dalkvist in the 70th minute of the match. The Huckebein players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
