The shot missed the goal on the right side and Alex Cambeiro ran dejectedly back to his position. Jaime Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Delay Sports booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Carita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
