Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oliver Petersson got the match started through his kick off. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Oliver Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Oliver Petersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. In the 16th minute, Oliver Petersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Rebelution's Oliver Petersson. But to his dismay, Oliver Petersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Petersson in the 32nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Chiquito Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Oliver Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oliver Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Leandro Mattin in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Chiquito Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rebelution's Leandro Mattin. The supporters of Rebelution booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rebelution's Americo Frascuelo was substituted for Rodolfo Indartsu. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Dario Guib got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Guib got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Dario Guib sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Teixeira got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Rebelution could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
