If Cezary Karpinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezary Karpinski went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Rua da Pinga fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Rua da Pinga's Cezary Karpinski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19thth minute of the game Sidónio Pacheco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Sidónio Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Tabor in the 23rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Rua da Pinga's Etienne Krummenacher made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Sidónio Pacheco sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Karpinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Sidónio Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Bruno Barrett managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Rua da Pinga's Sidónio Pacheco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezary Karpinski got free with Bruno Barrett in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Sidónio Pacheco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Barrett, passed just outside the right post. Curacao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cezary Karpinski 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. Sidónio Pacheco came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Cezary Karpinski took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Tabor in the 71st minute of play. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Franck Abildvang sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Cezary Karpinski made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-13. Charles Cox hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Kyle Davies hit a great ball. When the match was over Rua da Pinga could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curacao throughout the match.
