Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute VC zoetwater were awarded a corner. Gusztáv Bács went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which İbrahim Efe Akarsu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Sharkin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Alavedra saved Ciruel Academy from getting behind. Gusztáv Bács might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Alavedra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gusztáv Bács ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Ciruel Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Sharkin came free, but Jacob Alavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zarando Cordoba hit a great ball. Gusztáv Bács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Alavedra having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Alavedra saved Ciruel Academy from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fırat Okbaş in the 36th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If İbrahim Efe Akarsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ciruel Academy fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Ciruel Academy's Lucas Grijander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gong Ying Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Grijander in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Zarando Cordoba came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Ciruel Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Sharkin was the one to do the kick off. İbrahim Efe Akarsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Sharkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Olsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute İbrahim Efe Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Sharkin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC zoetwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Gusztáv Bács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacob Alavedra was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Gong Ying Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Grijander, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. VC zoetwater's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
