Bruno de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Benat went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, Saverio Benat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno de Amaral. Anderbye FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Benat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 13thth minute of the game Subin Lago Filho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquirenda FC's Lucio Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Fabiano Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Iker Vistruario hit a great ball. Nicasio Lauaxeta hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Anderbye FC's Reynaldo Maranhense in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 32nd minute Maximiliano Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Bruno de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Piquirenda FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Piquirenda FC's Segundo Corderun was substituted for Nunez Playo. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Samuel Munio replaced Fabricio Loi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Subin Lago Filho made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho Proença during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredinho Proença hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Anderbye FC's Bruno de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Anderbye FC from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Siro Endira replaced Delmiro Intxixu. After 63 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Maranhense. The long shot by Evelio Ilazki in the 64th minute really tested Bruno de Amaral's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 66th match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Subin Lago Filho to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Benat got free with Bruno de Amaral in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elias Emmanuel hit a great ball. Piquirenda FC's Lucio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by María-Remedios Sus in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piquirenda FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reynaldo Maranhense was slow to take the kick. During this time Anderbye FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Anderbye FC's corner Reynaldo Maranhense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucio Cordearo quite easily take care of the ball. After 80 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Proença. In the 82nd minute, Saverio Benat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 86th minute, María-Remedios Sus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 92 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Ilazki came free, but Bruno de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Evelio Ilazki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno de Amaral, 1-4.

Piquirenda FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Anderbye FC's much stronger midfield.
