Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. In the 11th minute, Haroldo Weather fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Ham Kaas might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ham Kaas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ham Kaas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Pannekoeken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ham Kaas couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Ham Kaas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ham Kaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pannekoeken players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
