Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 3rd minute, Mo Salah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ray Clemence having to make a save. Camilo Gisbert made in the 8th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Juan Sebastián Puig immediately put the ball in play. Ray Clemence came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Manly FC's attentive Jasmine Kaine managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. When Duke Carnduff fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manly FC's protests and gave Duke Carnduff a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, one of Manly FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manly FC:s Ray Clemence showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. John Aldridge succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 18th playminute. A hard shot 21 in the game by John Aldridge from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Salah came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Salah in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Salah in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clemence having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Mo Salah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd minute, Clifford Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Salah in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Salah in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute John Aldridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manly FC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. Ray Clemence made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Matthias Hanslow threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, John Aldridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and John Aldridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Aldridge in the 93rd minute of the match. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Manly FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
