Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kiko Neves made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 9th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Edgar Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. The supporters of Braga Junior FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Braga Junior FC's Dinei Hoffmann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. 25 minutes into the game, Válbson Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braga Junior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Válbson Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Edgar Sabóia came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aaron Alcocer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Sabóia having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Kiko Neves sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernandinho Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes, Braga Junior FC's Fernandinho Veiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Braga Junior FC reached it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Neves in the 80th minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Neves's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Neves came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Sabóia came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer. But to his dismay, Aaron Alcocer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Costa Rica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
