Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Koppány Novák took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chad Pro might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chad Pro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Koppány Novák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koppány Novák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chad Pro in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Fredrik Bäckström in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 15 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Fredrik Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Krister Säf hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Fredrik Bäckström made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fredrik Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fredrik Bäckström was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fredrik Bäckström made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Koppány Novák came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Koppány Novák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hawelka Himalayan High's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Bäckström came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play. Chad Pro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawelka Himalayan High. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Pro in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hawelka Himalayan High's Jonas Gustafsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chad Pro. After having played for 82 minutes, Koppány Novák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawelka Himalayan High's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koppány Novák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. After 85 played minutes Hawelka Himalayan High got a freekick which was hit by Krister Säf. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Bäckström. Fredrik Bäckström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fredrik Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
