Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. The throw-in from Flavinho Fantini in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Flavinho Fantini made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Célio Mangueira. 11 minutes into the match, Fausto Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Célio Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Joinville Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Mangueira couldn't finish the play. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Célio Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Célio Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Flavinho Fantini in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Benê de Azevedo with Célio Mangueira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Célio Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gonçalo Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavinho Fantini made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Célio Mangueira immediately put the ball in play. 37 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro. Wellington Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Célio Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Mangueira got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Montenegro having to interfere. Wellington Montenegro was a little too slow when Sebastian Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Benê de Azevedo in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After 68 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Eger. With a little luck, Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Nelson Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Nelson Eger got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Honduras's Luca Espinar pulled a muscle in his leg after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Fausto Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joinville Esporte Clube's protests and gave Fausto Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. Honduras's Alexander Costa was substituted for Luca Espinar. 79 minutes in the game Benê de Azevedo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Flavinho Fantini. After 79 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Costa. Célio Mangueira took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Benê de Azevedo in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Sebastian Villa took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Wellington Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
