C A U were winning 0-1.

C A U made a substitution. Eliseo Hurko replaced Candido Firmo. The wind increased when Lucas Barcelos made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Nahia struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C A U. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Jorge Nahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Jorge Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Nahia came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C A U had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
