A collision led to 『挑战者』银河俱乐部 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. 王枫威 hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 麦南星 during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, 麦南星 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by 王枫威 in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. 任常德 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 任常德. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
