Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sabino Vilhena made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sabino Vilhena from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Sabino Vilhena had several of the Mexico's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Dante Lacasa as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Karl Nietlisbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Matos Velhos's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito de Godoi came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vito de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito de Godoi having to interfere. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Karl Nietlisbach. But to his dismay, Karl Nietlisbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 32nd minute of play. Lorenzo Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Sabino Vilhena tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Sabino Vilhena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Sabino Vilhena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang Qing Lin. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes, Luca Rouco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Matos Velhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matos Velhos were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sabino Vilhena took the corner. Vito de Godoi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 58 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Vito de Godoi was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 3-4. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tord Böcklund charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tord Böcklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Tord Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Matos Velhos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Domingos Palmeira hit a great ball. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Lee Beckford replaced Karl Nietlisbach. Matos Velhos's Henrique Candal was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. 74 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Vito de Godoi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Cazalla in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Beckford came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Matos Velhos getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jiang Qing Lin hit a great ball. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Matos Velhos booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
