Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charro Revuelta kicked off to start the match. Charro Revuelta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leocadio Castro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Spartak de Txurdi's Pang Chuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's Pang Chuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Pang Chuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Eulalio Majua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Charro Revuelta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spartak de Txurdi's Eulalio Majua did a great save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charro Revuelta in the 42nd minute of the match. Pang Chuan took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Spartak de Txurdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğan Ferikoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 56thth minute of the game Pang Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Eulalio Majua made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pang Chuan in the 60th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Majua having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Chuan in the 65th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pang Chuan in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Spartak de Txurdi's Pang Chuan. But to his dismay, Pang Chuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Charro Revuelta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Chuan in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Spartak de Txurdi were awarded a corner. Leocadio Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. Pang Chuan made a great header on Spartak de Txurdi's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charro Revuelta in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Spartak de Txurdi booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Pang Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Pang Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Spartak de Txurdi players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
