FA Sandtown's Sylwester Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Sylwester Tamulewicz to make any attempt to save it. After 59 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Tamulewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sylwester Tamulewicz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Tamulewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sylwester Tamulewicz in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Tamulewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Sylwester Tamulewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.
