Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Rogelio Kismi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quimeras Jrs. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 6 played minutes Quimeras Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Emeterio. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Txurio. Conrado Txurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Txurio was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Conrado Txurio. Julio Vera was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Jonatan Orlin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonatan Orlin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Txurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Conrado Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced Quimeras Jrs.'s goalkeeper Conrado Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Jonatan Orlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Jonatan Orlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rogelio Kismi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. Rogelio Kismi kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Jonatan Orlin made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Conrado Txurio to make any attempt to save it. Conrado Txurio was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Conrado Txurio made a huge save. Conrado Txurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Conrado Txurio made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Txurio having to interfere. Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play. Omar Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Conrado Txurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 80th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Conrado Txurio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With 83 minutes on the clock, Justino Sayveon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Quimeras Jrs.'s Justino Sayveon got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conrado Txurio came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 89th minute. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
