Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Korneliusz Brak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 7th minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korneliusz Brak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Unax's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Gaudencio Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Milian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quitilipi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Gaudencio Milian hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Korneliusz Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Unax was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Astor Boni got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Korneliusz Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korneliusz Brak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Korneliusz Brak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Brak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Quitilipi's Diego Unax made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Unax took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Quitilipi could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
