Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Quitilipi defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Korneliusz Brak. The Quitilipi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korneliusz Brak should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Unax came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Korneliusz Brak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillermo Ursino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Korneliusz Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Henrico to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Brak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Unax was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Korneliusz Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremey Vanooteghem kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Quitilipi's Korneliusz Brak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Korneliusz Brak made a huge save. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jeremey Vanooteghem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Korneliusz Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Korneliusz Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quitilipi's Nunez Hulberto was substituted for Evaristo Errapel. Diego Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Korneliusz Brak made a huge save. Quitilipi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Korneliusz Brak, making the score, 1-3. Marcu Scripcaru kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korneliusz Brak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Korneliusz Brak, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremey Vanooteghem didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quitilipi throughout the match.
