The ROSARIO CENTRAL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Xabier should have stopped the shot. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Shepherd in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Benigno Baraquiel made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Baraquiel in the 40th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, ROSARIO CENTRAL FC's goalkeeper Domingos Xabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Baraquiel made a kick off. Marciano Chinto ran back to his position shaking his head. ROSARIO CENTRAL FC played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
