After 3 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Hats. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kärim Benzine hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Amancio Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Arce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Olle Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Berni y Benja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olle Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Gavino Hats's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Hats helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Videl having to interfere. Edgardo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes Berni y Benja FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amancio Videl quite easily take care of the ball. Edgardo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Doğuhan Işıklar had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joshua Secada during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Videl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kärim Benzine in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kärim Benzine in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olle Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kärim Benzine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, Berni y Benja FC's Kärim Benzine made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Berni y Benja FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Berni y Benja FC's Mauro Boni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 81 minutes into the game, Berni y Benja FC's Kärim Benzine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Boni in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Boni in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Boni in the 86th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Boni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Berni y Benja FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Tino came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Berni y Benja FC fully deserved thier win.
