After having played for 19 minutes, Cyryl Kiewra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lekparken FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Kiewra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigge Holmberg skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyryl Kiewra in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Abdurrahman Aslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Lekparken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Jacobsson to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Lekparken FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Albohm.

The wind increased when Cyryl Kiewra made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Stålman in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Lekparken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Boklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Lekparken FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Sigge Holmberg made a huge save. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lekparken FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Jose Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigge Holmberg having to interfere. Sigge Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Måns Stålman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Joensson in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Lekparken FC were awarded a corner. Edgard Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Lekparken FC's corner Taha Ali fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Måns Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Joensson in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Lekparken FC were the better team. Lekparken FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
