Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Urtsín Dumont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Veiga in the 7th minute of play. Pedrão Berger lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 9th minute, Pedrão Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in CORINTHIANS's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Barral came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalberto Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Adalberto Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ronaldo Barral but with some difficulty. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Veiga in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Urtsín Dumont. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtsín Dumont went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Urtsín Dumont kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Ramos in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Bueno came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Basílio Mangueira with Urtsín Dumont as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Ramos in the 55th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Hudson de Toledo with Wilson Veiga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Ramos in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Wilson Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Veiga came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Seide was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Ramos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. CORINTHIANS's Caio Paiva was substituted for Artur Bueno. CORINTHIANS's Rui Borges was substituted for Erasmo Ramos. When Rodney Emmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Rodney Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Emmanuel. Noel Seide made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Urtsín Dumont sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Caio Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Paiva came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Haiti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CORINTHIANS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
