When Jenson Smith fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USA's protests and gave Jenson Smith a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ♦Diabetes♦ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Patryk Duna hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Ronaldinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. ♦Diabetes♦ made a substitution. 方挺寒 replaced Daniel Björk. The crowd rose to their feet as Zach Harrison kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Chorache. That made the score 0-1 in the 82 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Baker got free with Jonas Chorache in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sam Campbell came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Campbell couldn't finish the play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Stephen in the 95th minute of play. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The ♦Diabetes♦ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
