An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play forced Cochisuma's goalkeeper Ismael Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ismael Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Saturnino Paez made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio Lain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Cochisuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 雷帆斐 to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Urtsua in the 28th minute of the match. Julio Lain scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cochisuma's Saturnino Paez. But to his dismay, Saturnino Paez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Cochisuma booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Urtsua in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Vladimiro Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Lain in the 70th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Urtsua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Baltasar Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cochisuma fully deserved thier win.
