Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Guttane's Cornelius Nilssen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abel Carballo, made in the 10th minute of the game. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Fiskvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Guttane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Ranheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guttane's attentive Roar Wold managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Fiskvik came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Bjørnar Kaasa made a huge save. Roar Wold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, Guttane's Christer Fiskvik made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guttane's Christer Fiskvik got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Odd Sørdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odd Sørdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Odd Sørdal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Christer Fiskvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Christer Fiskvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Christer Fiskvik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Fiskvik in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Christer Fiskvik made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kim-André Sømme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play, Guttane's Tore-Andre Årseth made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th match minute, Guttane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Ranheim to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Fiskvik in the 59th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bjørnar Kaasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odd Sørdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Odd Sørdal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cornelius Nilssen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Odd Sørdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Odd Sørdal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-6. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Fiskvik in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Guttane could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
