The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Paoletti to make the kick off. Tuncer Doğu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Jazowski in the 53rd minute of the match. Barça were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after FC SOLOTHURN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafal Jazowski took the corner. Barça's attentive Zbigniew Pankiewicz managed to snatch the ball when Domenico Di Fiore made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SOLOTHURN's goalkeeper Tuncer Doğu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anfilogino Sasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Edmund Makomaski made a huge save. Edmund Makomaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Madruga in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 65th minute of play forced Barça's goalkeeper Edmund Makomaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Sasso had several of the Barça's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 97th minute Krzysztof Gibowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncer Doğu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC SOLOTHURN's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
