LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Ao Ying in the 28th minute of play. Janne Oblak was a little too slow when Saden Merzouk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. Janne Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saden Merzouk, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of quem me dá 1 milhão euros booed when LeicestersKickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, John Kellbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Michel Preudhomme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kiki Monginsidi was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, LeicestersKickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Vedholm to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in LeicestersKickers's zone, Zhuang Kuan Nan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janne Oblak came out of the goal and Zhuang Kuan Nan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão de Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michel Preudhomme firmly grabbed it by the left post. LeicestersKickers were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after quem me dá 1 milhão euros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rigoberto Paredes took the corner. LeicestersKickers's John Kellbom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michel Preudhomme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. But to his dismay, Zhu Ao Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Saden Merzouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Janne Oblak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kiki Monginsidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kiki Monginsidi came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michel Preudhomme could save by the left post. Michel Preudhomme was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and John Kellbom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. John Kellbom really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Janne Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saden Merzouk in the 90th minute of the match. Janne Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janne Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Novaes in the 92nd minute of play.
