Mete Nared could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Janne Oblak made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova FC's Víktor Sanches got a free kick in the 7th minute. Janne Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak got control of the ball when Mete Nared tried to sneak it across the goal line. Janne Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vila Nova FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luca Postelnicescu in the 14th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Jiang Nan Han heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 17thth minute of the game Luca Postelnicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiki Monginsidi in the 19th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Janne Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Nared. After a defensive mix-up in LeicestersKickers's zone, Mete Nared stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janne Oblak came out of the goal and Mete Nared tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janne Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu in the 38th minute of play. If Luca Postelnicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiki Monginsidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristóvão de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Janne Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Postelnicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Postelnicescu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Janne Oblak saved LeicestersKickers from getting behind. Janne Oblak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Lara went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Vila Nova FC got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Basso. After 80 minutes of play, Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janne Oblak was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 minutes, Mete Nared made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. John Kellbom hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Luca Postelnicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janne Oblak was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. A collision led to LeicestersKickers getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Urban Finnman hit a great ball. Urban Finnman kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vila Nova FC had won after a very even match.
