The corner led Barça's Burak Krawczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastião Xoxe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Jarocewicz during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Jarocewicz. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Major was the one to do the kick off. Norbert Major might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Makomaski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Major ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Paoletti in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Barça defense, Norbert Major kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Makomaski. The Barça fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Makomaski should have stopped the shot. Sebastião Xoxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Makomaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Norbert Major who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barça's Edmund Makomaski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmund Makomaski was a little too slow when Norbert Major got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-5. Barça made a substitution. Tucker Zybelin replaced Aldo Paoletti. Barça's Krzysztof Gibowski was substituted for Rafal Jazowski. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tucker Zybelin in the 90th minute of play. Krzysztof Gibowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sebastião Xoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of Pogoń Szczecin echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Barça had held the ball for most of the match.
