FC SOLOTHURN's Tuncer Doğu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdullah Kaplan in the 14th minute of play. Frank Fiori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Sasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamdullah Kaplan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Madruga in the 24th minute of play forced ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Frank Fiori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Fiori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Madruga in the 25th minute of the match. FC SOLOTHURN's Tuncer Doğu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC SOLOTHURN from getting a goal against them. Jacob Madruga scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Fiori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamdullah Kaplan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tuncer Doğu having to make a save. Jarbas Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tuncer Doğu made a huge save. Tuncer Doğu was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Jarbas Dias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarbas Dias really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anfilogino Sasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hamdullah Kaplan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panait Stolniciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Frank Fiori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Sasso got free with Frank Fiori in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hamdullah Kaplan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Fiori made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Anfilogino Sasso sent off a good shot on target.
