Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilian Lopez kicked off to start the match. Dennis Rechnitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Madruga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob Madruga during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lunáticos booed when FC SOLOTHURN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Madruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuncer Doğu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wilian Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuncer Doğu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC SOLOTHURN defense, Wilian Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuncer Doğu. The FC SOLOTHURN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuncer Doğu should have stopped the shot. Dennis Rechnitzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Wilian Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncer Doğu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC SOLOTHURN's Tuncer Doğu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Paranaense in the 42nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Gustavo Romero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tuncer Doğu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Alfonso Fortunato kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Allan Moraes struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Tuncer Doğu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunáticos. Hortêncio Cruz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Dennis Rechnitzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Sasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tuncer Doğu made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Wilian Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Murillo Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Rossetti's late challenge caught a Lunáticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Rossetti helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes FC SOLOTHURN got a freekick which was hit by Armando Rossetti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 82nd minute of play forced Lunáticos's goalkeeper Dennis Rechnitzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Lopezs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tuncer Doğu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wilian Lopez had several of the FC SOLOTHURN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Tuncer Doğu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Anfilogino Sasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Rechnitzer having to interfere. The FC SOLOTHURN manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lunáticos to win.
