The audience thought a goal was coming when Tytus Banaszak got free with Stasio Brodzki in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qian Kang Bin might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rhys Dimmock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qian Kang Bin ran back to his position shaking his head. Rezurekcja Gomulin's Stasio Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Balaeț in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Qian Kang Bin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Rezurekcja Gomulin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Cieliczka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. Rhys Dimmock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qian Kang Bin's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Zamalek FC's much stronger midfield.
