The crowd rose to their feet as Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Makomaski. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Norbert Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Edmund Makomaski made a huge save. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Major got free with Edmund Makomaski in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Barça's Edmund Makomaski got control of the ball when Norbert Major tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Barça's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Stefanopoulos came free, but Edmund Makomaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Donzel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Jurand Debowski with Norbert Major as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 26 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Tomiczek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barça's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Szczecin the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barça's Zbyszko Tomiczek got a free kick in the 26th minute. Edmund Makomaski made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Norbert Major sent off a good shot on target. Zbyszko Tomiczek made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tucker Zybelin. After 30 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Zula Mentis. Norbert Majors short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Edmund Makomaski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Norbert Major had several of the Barça's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Edmund Makomaski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edmund Makomaski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Major's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Makomaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Paoletti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmund Makomaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 54th minute of play. Edmund Makomaski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norbert Major went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Conrado Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. Pogoń Szczecin's Conrado Donzel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmund Makomaski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Radowit Limanowski made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tucker Zybelin immediately put the ball in play. Barça's Edmund Makomaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Major in the 65th minute of play. Edmund Makomaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th match minute, Barça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tucker Zybelin to maneuver through the defense. Pogoń Szczecin's Anselmo Doris was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmund Makomaski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmund Makomaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Major in the 88th minute of play forced Barça's goalkeeper Edmund Makomaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barça made a substitution. Krzysztof Gibowski replaced Rafal Jazowski. 91 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's Stefanos Stefanopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Makomaski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barça's zone, Norbert Major stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Makomaski came out of the goal and Norbert Major tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barça's goalie prevented a goal.
