Kanfjellien's Fredrik Kristiansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Franco in the 37th minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Aage Vatle was the one to do the kick off. Fredrik Kristiansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Camilo Franco with Francisco Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fredrik Kristiansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 59th minute of the match. Fredrik Kristiansen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Kanfjellien's Fredrik Kristiansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Fredrik Kristiansen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Franco got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Maximiliano Escribano. In the 73rd minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Kristiansen. Kanfjellien's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Francisco Seco scored 10-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Kristiansen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute of the game Bruno Beldad made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Kanfjellien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Madland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Kristiansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Kristiansen was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Fredrik Kristiansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camilo Franco went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uruguay had played much better football throughout.
