Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Braga Junior FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Hector Covarrubias scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Sabóia, making the score, 1-0. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão Neiva hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Neves in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Neves in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Edgar do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braga Junior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. Edgar Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Diego Tenorio got free with Edgar Sabóia in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kiko Neves made the kick off in the second half. Edgar Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Braga Junior FC's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Sabóia came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Edgar do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edgar Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braga Junior FC's Edgar Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Neiva. 69 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Braga Junior FC's Bruninho Nascimento quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Paraguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernandinho Veiga 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 80th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Fernandinho Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braga Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paraguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kiko Neves 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Braga Junior FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Paraguay had controlled the match.
