Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Özdemir Kutlualp started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Özdemir Kutlualp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Özdemir Kutlualp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özdemir Kutlualp struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ST Lions FC. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hızır Türkoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Beyhan Vatansever, made in the 18th minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes ST Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Gürel Kamver. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Paraguay booed when ST Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yalçın Zeyni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. During the 30th minute of the match Alan Campos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alan Campos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 31st minute. Hızır Türkoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Özdemir Kutlualp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Hakan Derim with Özdemir Kutlualp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When ST Lions FC's Özdemir Kutlualp in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, ST Lions FC's Gürel Kamver got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56thth minute of the game Özdemir Kutlualp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Özdemir Kutlualp notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64thth minute of the game Özdemir Kutlualp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xavier Zoido's late challenge caught a ST Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Zoido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakan Derim in the 68th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özdemir Kutlualp, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hakan Derim, made in the 71st minute of the game. If Özdemir Kutlualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ST Lions FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hızır Türkoğlu hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Hakan Derim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hızır Türkoğlu in the 96th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but ST Lions FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
