Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Zarco started the match with the kick off. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Bettencourt came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SC Luzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Ferrão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Poças recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, SC Luzim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Ecuador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Luzim were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Poças in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, SC Luzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Poças to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Caetano Cruz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Lucas Zarco sent off a good shot on target. Salvador Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when SC Luzim's Lucas Zarco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
