Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yu Yang Sang started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Serafim Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 minutes, Zé Roberto da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chile booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Dearden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Sagarana Clube were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serafim Barros took the corner. Sagarana Clube's Yu Yang Sang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Serafim Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Serafim Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Yang Sang in the 35th minute of the match. Benedito Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éder Madureira got free with Thiago Pliego in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedito Trigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedito Trigo. Sagarana Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Zé Roberto da Costa. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. Bruno Salles replaced Éder Madureira. Mariano Lacasa scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedito Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sagarana Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
