Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eriberto Erlantz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cura del Futbol's Gogo Anaya. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Erlantz was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Erlantz saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. Alfred Pawelczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Raul Abadia. With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cura del Futbol throughout the match.
