The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Wei Li got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 33rd minute. Leopoldo Rosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Santo Libertad charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Libertad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chile booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Izel made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mariano Silbestre however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dep Colonia Avellaneda had won after a very even match.
