Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Amor came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Edmundo Vinhas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Amor's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Edmundo Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Edmundo Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Vinhas got free with Benito Sanz in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Vinhas came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, 俞迅弘 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ramon Amor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 96 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Messi Dream Team had played much better football throughout.
