Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Serafino Geofredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Santo Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 6th minute. Santo Beat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Beat in the 14th minute of play. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Berganza charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Berganza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 26th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Pablo Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tomas Berganza was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 41 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Serafino Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Geofredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abraham Alguacil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Beat to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Acevedo having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Acevedo. C. A. Potrero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pablo Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Miguel Miralles went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Beat in the 74th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 78th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Pablo Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Acevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Panama had played much better football throughout.
