Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Leonardo Reynardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jyrki Airisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Nicanor Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jyrki Airisto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Mario Fernandino made a great header on Bolivia's corner, it was just that Granville's Jyrki Airisto managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Granville's goalkeeper Jyrki Airisto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Fontirroig. After 63 played minutes Granville got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Domeka. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. Luciano Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Granville support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
