Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Valentin Negroni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metapalo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe. But to his dismay, Dante Rafe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Valentin Negroni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metapalo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 19th minute Valentin Negroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Belarmo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Dante Rafe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Dante Rafe put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 32 minutes of play, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Rafe in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dante Rafe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Baumar was slow to take the kick. During this time Metapalo FC's players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes into the game, Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 43 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metapalo FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Dante Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The wind increased when Valentin Negroni made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Metapalo FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Baumar took the corner. The corner ended in Stelian Orescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 64 in the game by Dante Rafe from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Rafe in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dante Rafe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 73 minute of play. Dante Rafe might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Rafe ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dante Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Metapalo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
