Potrero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C. A. Potrero. After 91 minutes C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Lucio Ur managed, with a little bit of luck, save Daniel Zorita's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 96th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Potrero.
