Demiralp Karadağ charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demiralp Karadağ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 4 minutes into the match, G . S A R A Y's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Miromir Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Åberg in the 6th minute of play. If Svante Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute of the match, Svante Åberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Demiralp Karadağ, made in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced G . S A R A Y's goalkeeper Miromir Kociniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Kamil Babacan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G . S A R A Y fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Svante Åberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Miromir Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, G . S A R A Y's Kamil Babacan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kamil Babacan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Kamil Babacan slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 53rd minute Kamil Babacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Koray Suer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Bertil Wassenius with Rüknettin Tosunoğlu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Svante Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of G . S A R A Y booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koray Suer in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Venezuela's Jose Correa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jose Correa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jose Correa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Kamil Babacan sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. G . S A R A Y walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
